We have recently seen a number of patients who have been treated abroad with significant complications following their surgery.
The surgery was complicated by a infection of one of the stitches which has left her with this wound which we are treating,
If you are considering having surgery abroad we suggest:
- You thoroughly check out the Hospital you are having the surgery in
- Specifically check on their infection control procedures
- Ask your surgeon if he has had any infections in any of his patients
- Make sure you are clear about how any complications will be covered if you do develop any problems

By reading this article, I think Nobody will think of going for the surgery outside.

What a nightmare. Stay at home for surgery folks! It's not worth the pain, suffering and fear of complications far from home.

That is absolutely true. You have to check up with the hospital and the surgeons as to how improved are the amenities there. So that you do not land up in such a mess. Also have to make sure that you are with a specialist.
